Concert Recap: Indigo Girls Monday Night
Some people go to church to reaffirm their -whatever. 'Girls concerts do that for me.
The crowd on Monday was particularly positive. Amy Ray kept exclaiming at our awesomeness, many thanks for our singing along, or for just listening. They really have gotten into the good habit of giving you the new stuff, then letting us have the old reliables. I very much feel that there's potential for stuff from the new album to become part of the old reliable set.
Dinner with fraterrisus was entertaining- and the rasberry margaritas necessary.
Sharing the concert with my girlfriend made it that much better. Last time we went to one it was together (at the Fleet Pavillion) a tour or two ago. Any time I get to share something with someone who feels the same level of excitement makes the whole thing so much better.
Additionally it was Zach's first consciously attended concert. The ones as an infant really don't count so very much. Watching him sing along to his favorites was a big high.
