Life's good, even in Ohio today
Last night
quiet_elegance and I had some mighty-fine sushi at Sushi Corner. Although we confused the nice lady who works there. She usually sees me there with
purple_terror. So, as we were leaving, she hesitantly asked if q_e had gotten a hair cut? No, I say- you're thinking of the Other One-- we left him at home. Yep, we whiteys all look alike, I know. Hee. So, P_T: the waitress missed you and says hi. After the fish, we went home and watched Cars- my 2nd viewing, q_e's first. This has probably been our lowest key anniversary celebration, but this girl is most satisfied.
The country sort of gave me present I'd been hoping for, but wasn't holding my breath for-- (although I guess we all turned a little blue after all, so says the Metro.- Cutest headline ever). Dad reported that the city councilman he was supporting - who was in favor of making zoning have a plan in their town- was elected. Additionally, the town voted in favor of giving the library money and voted in favor of the needed rezoning. That, plus the dem candidate for governor and in the House- not a bad day for the Heartland. Thanks to everyone who helped make there be change. Let's hope we stay focused enough to change for the better, eh?

Also, you think Ani'll play anything off Reprieve on Friday? Or perhaps she'll be in a little better mood? ;^)
