Preferred Oddities (majorly edited)
I've been tagged by
taura_g to identify some of the weirdnesses that is me.
The first one is from
caulay, with elaboration by me in italics
1. I work for a religious organization, but I'm not religious- in fact staunchly agnostic. I have found there's more in common there than I had origially imagined- They're very into the secular humanism. I just don't get into the God-talk.
Comments will be screeened-- just in case and a summary will be posted later.
2. I voraciously tear through TV series when I have access to DVDs, but I prefer to savor books. I think it speaks to the nature of the two different entertainments that I react diffently.
3. I hate meeting people in a hallway- like at work- particularly if I can hear them coming before I see them. I tend to walk faster to avoid.
4. I get vertigo from looking down subway gratings in the sidewalk when the train is passing and you can see to the bottom of the grate/work area. (discovered this evening - 11/16- when walking from Kendall to Central Square)
5. I do bouncy California-style aerobics. And I like it. I never thought I would. I may bounce from time to time, but I am so very not California.
6. I never like reading LJ comment notifications via email. I always click through to read it in the original formatting.
I liked the variation where other people tell me about their quirks. If anyone's still reading something so old as yesterday's LJ (gasp!) sock it to me
