21st Century Bar Experience - Things I did:

Managed to get to the venue without assistance and without getting worried when I had to go around a rabbit warren of a block.
Enjoyed one drink with vodka (cranberry tart) and watched the drunk people slosh about in an attempt to dance
Sat with Kit between sets and marveled she was functioning after a day in the dentist chair
Was asked to dance 2 times by random stranger - why not
Got a free Coke from the young and cute bartender
Received very speculative looks from random members of the audience while chillin'- then dancin'- with Kit. Heh. My milkshake... nevermind.
Now home, entirely sober with ringy ears and sore feet. A good night. It's good to remind oneself that going off on an adventure such as that is entirely reasonable and fun.
