Family visit planning

mizarchivistSo, after several years hiatus, my parents have taken in an exchange student for the remainder of the school year. This is the 8th AFS kid my folks hosted, and 9th if you include the young lady who boarded with them for a year+ from Croatia (?); Lucy's from France and her original family was not very supportive, so, yeah. When there wasn't any inclusion for Thanksgiving, that was the last straw.
Mom just called to fill me in on this and ask if Lucy was welcome at Christmas. Unanimous and unequivocal "yes" from all house members. purple_terror's actually not going to be around for the better part of the weekend as it is, so the jockeying for the bathroom won't be any worse than usual during a visit, most likely. I'm really excited by the prospect of this addition, as Christmas is always more fun when there's a kid around, even if she is a teenager. Also, there's more impetous to go do stuff in town, since she's not been to Beantown thus far. Yay :)
By the way, it's so nice out at the moment, I'm going to take my bike for a spin!
