The disappointing
No art sales at Boskone. Feh. I suspect I paid the price of not doing enough for presentation. The rays of sunshine
- Random sales of my stuff for the past few weeks is accumultating nicely and staving off complete dejection
- At least I have a web site for them now.
- At least there weren't any theft incidents- at least none with my stuff.
- And they were seen. My check for Lunacon was accepted, although I've not seen any confirmation letter yet, so I have 4 weeks to make it suck less. At the very least, I will buy more velveteen covered boards. The U-pin to affix plan is a bust, I think, at this point.
sunspiral, some of your brainstorming would be helpful.
- And
shadesong was nice enough to pick up the dragons for me on her way out of the con today, for which I am grateful. If I had to waste the better part of my afternoon going downtown to be entirely disappointed, then I wouldn't be my current maudlin but in a full state of scorned-woman ire. Maudlin not helped by mid-season Angel review.
- And on the other side of the clay world, I bought 2 new garlic presses to extrude clay. I wish I could combine all 3 that I have for the world's perfect clay tool, but it is not to be. I've also come up with a lot of things I want to do with tins and other stuff. The hearts have been fun to make. I'm fiddling more with that this evening.
- I also have a house full of tasty food and the promise of
purple_terror doing a full on feast tomorrow.
- Christmas presents in February.
- New commuting bag with LOTS of pocketses
- A new book to read

I have an 8"x11" black velvet covered padded board like the kind that jewelers use. (I made it for doing ribbon flowers.) Would this be of use to you?
Thanks

Oh boy, another educational experience.

What I meant to convey was I want particular parts of each of the 3 all in one press: the built in hole cleaner, the flat press (vs. 45 degree angle, which is a pain) and the hole size/shape. I did think about how cool a ricer would be, but the amount of clay you'd have to put into it to get long enough extrusions would be lots more than I need in a single pressing.
Nice icon you have there.
