More stuff
I've sent an email to my doctor to see what more I need to know about mono. If she has anything helpful to say with this specific instance I'll pass that on. Thanks to all who have fed me snippets of the CDC website. Already my tonils feel less cruddy than a few days ago. Also there was no way I could have kept myself from getting this. So sayeth the CDC:
I'm sitting in mom's living room and I can smell fresh basil. Food good. Want some. Then rest and then to the West Side to hear Dale sing.
"However, no special precautions or isolation procedures are recommended, since the virus is also found frequently in the saliva of healthy people." And so on.Typically- ironically- I have no patience or time right now to catch up on LJ since Monday, I scanned through, but retained almost nothing. If you really have something awesome to share, email me.

Rest Rest Rest is the only way you will get better.
I too had no idea how I got it no one I knew had it or got it while I had it. Bad luck.

This is NOT how I wanted to spend my sabbatical. Thus far, I think I've gotten lucky and my dose of it isn't half so bad as it could be. But yes. I'll be taking it easy for sure.

That being said, you do what you need to to get better. If you happen to get a spurt of energy and wish for company, let me know.
