Still in Ohio, still not healthy

Re: health. The professional say: wait it out. Keep taking Advil and Sudafed. Rest. You'll be fine in another week or so. Oh good. I'm great at waiting, but I'd estimate I'm 75% there.
Re: visit: very low key. The weather's been beastly. Amy's kids enjoyed the spinkler in the yard. The 3 year old was very cute running around like a heathen in her undies. Just like Amy (her mom) and I did when we were smalls. We are now inside enjoying the AC. The backyard picnic party was very abbreviated this year and it was just about right.
Yesterday we went to the West Side Market, which is one of those places that just doesn't quite exist in Boston. I'm sort of relieved and very sorry at the same time. purple_terror and I would have to put it into our permanent rotation on weekly food-getting. Tomorrow I do work-like things in Cleveland. Tuesday we return to Boston late in the day.

I had mono in the spring of 2006, and it sucks, a lot. I feel really bad for you. I never figured out where I caught it from, either. It seemed to take forever before I finally felt better - but the last stage was definitely the body aches. the all-over, I think I got hit by a truck aches. I had to take Rx pain meds they were so difficult for me to cope with.

I feel sorry for you having to deal with an illness that sucks so much of your energy while you're traveling - it is really draining.

I hope you feel better fast - I wish we could have seen you on your Ohio adventure!

You got your body aches last? This whole thing started with unbelievable pain and it subsided after the first few days but the throat stayed. Now I'm just lethargic. And ub way to early today.

Also the travel hasn't been too heinous this time. Especially since we've been in the same place for several days at a shot. And Mom really has been moming me, which is lovely. If I were at home, I'd have been alone and BORED because it's not like I can sleep all day. Only for about 45 min at a time during the day. Could be a lot worse.

Inside and enjoying the AC seems to be the way of it over here, as well. It's supposed to be silly hot the next few days, and then it breaks.

I'm glad the trip is going well, other than the overall blech. I hope you're getting what you wanted/needed out of it.
