mizarchivistAs ya'll might imagine, M has been a bit impatient for me to get my own bike... so this morning at his prompting, I call a guy who had a honda 500 C... something custom (part of the name on the gas tank rather than made by hand)... old. '79. (that *is* old for a bike)
Unfortunately, it's out in Carver. K decides why not go w/ us, so we take car instead of the bike (K's still at work, and he's still not ready thanks to his finger stitches) - appt. at 3. Fine. We leave at 2. We decide going around 495 is going to take too long so we go through 93 and all that. Ugh. Lots of traffic through Boston (of course!!!) but we get to see what road just ain't there anymore, which was cool. More stupid drivers, but we get there. See it- kick the tires (almost literally) M gives it a spin, I give it a spin and come to the conclusion that it's just not quite right. Fine--- no big. No pressure from the guys for me to get it, I don't want it. We head out for home...
Do we want to go to Olive Garden in Framingham on the way home? Sure. They're hungry, I'll be hungry... but OG is *packed* (so not surprised, am I), so we bail and go to Bennigan's. Eh. Not the best, but it's food and Ben and Jerry's is around the corner-
It was very nice to chill with my guys and at least go see if that bike was worth buying- Unfortunately, this meant no grocery shopping til after 7- and the day felt like it was spent mostly in the car.
I'd love to call in lazy tomorrow, but Fearless Leader is out of town tuesday to thursday, and there's Stuff to be done. :)

I did the B&J factory tour today :)
