Halfway Mark: Sabbatical
I just realised today is exactly the half way mark in my sabbatical.
Stuff done-
Stuff done-
Caught mono
Went to Ohio and saw both halves of my legal and blood families. Twas a good visit, even!
Made several Jayne hats (hm... should put one on Etsy to see if it sells)
Made my 2nd-4th Etsy sales, all to the same person and the latter 2 commissioned.
Did much crafting as a result of the interest
Have been re-watching Buffy from the beginning - correlation with crafting and chores getting done
Seen my doctors way too much (not all for mono even)
Public Speaking class (BCAE)
Meeting Facilitation class (TDC)
Met with a number of smart people who have helped me focus my future class topics and structure
Created a wiki for my own classes
Created a wiki for archivist meeting in the spring for planning purposes
Mapped out the 2 workshops I'm teaching
Went to Maine to see the honorary family
Started cataloging Dead Muppet House's books (probably 3/4 done now)
Gone to the Lexington community pool several times (not enough, though) and once to the Lex. resevoir
Acquired a bitchin' tan, which feels naughty and decadant and unlikely to repeat any time soon to this degree
Bike rides and roller blading -still not enough, but getting there
Leather elfing
Many visits with many people that I'd have done anyway, but feels more special with a not-normal schedule
Rediscovered Pandora and started a list of things to get- mostly in the feminist folkies thus far, but will get a dancy list started soon
