Bourne Ultimatum
Observations:
Hey, Paul- buy a fucking steady cam.

Too bad...
When I've been talking to people about it, this is what I've said and done, "When the opening sequence begins what you do is, [open mouth and drop jaw], and sit that way for the next 111 minutes."
Re: Too bad...
Some of the action sequence had me incapable of keeping quiet. And dude. Smart.
One could actually see the establishment pull their unit out of their pants, wave it around, stick on a cowboy hat and say "Yeehaw! Let's git 'em!!" Not a wise move when the "enemy" is a lot smarter than you.

Think Saving Private Ryan, it is meant to make you feel there, and yay it does make you sick with motion sickness at times.
Honestly I feel it is overdone.

I'm all for making you feel like you're there. And I can really appreciate it, but yes. Overdone. There's a fine line between realism and barfitude. As I said to Kate: pretty much liked the movie except for the camera work.
It really doesn't help I just watched Serenity again the night before. Say hello to genius use of the camera! Just sayin'. :)
I liked this one even better than Supremacy.

Serenity set a bar for smooth camera work, I do wonder if the same people work on BSG as many shots appear similar. Same space views and similar work with the steady-cam.
