Grammy Update

When I was in Arizona, my dad and his sister talked extensively of what was going on with Grammy (my last "surviving" grandparent).  Their younger sister has been primary care-giver for Grammy ever since she was diagnosed with Alzheimers. It's an insanely tough gig and after something like 5-6 years, Carol finally was ready to set Grammy up for a nursing home. Issues that finally decided this was that Grammy was being physically combative when she was upset, was wandering at night when staying with my parents (they installed deadbolts shortly thereafter), and spends more time questioning her companions as to what she's eating than eating. Unless it's ice cream.
[pause] Ok, Carol just called me back and it sounds like Grammy's adjusting as well as can be expected to the new space. Good.
