The Kindness of Friends?- ISO Car with a ball hitch

I really need to get my motorcycle up to Londonderry. I can rent a trailer from U-Haul for 15 bucks a day (woo!) But I don't have a hitch on my car. To get one installed w/ all the fixings the adventure will cost a bit over 300 bucks. While I'm cool with the idea of a permanent hitch on my car, I don't really want to spend that right now.  So! Is anyone able to help a motorcycle babe out? Bribes/reimbursement within reason are of course on the table.

What ben said. Welcome to use the van if you want. Also have a flatbed trailer suitable for hauling bikes.

This may seem silly, but the Miata is also setup with a hitch, you are welcome to borrow it and or me to drive it. It will handle a trailer and your bike no problem, they probably weigh less than the trailer, tools and tires we used to pull.

This may be a silly and obvious question, but, why not ride to Londonderry? It seems sunny and nice out. Is it the cold? I guess you don't work up body heat riding a m-cycle like a bike.

You could say that. Try going 70 in anything under 40 degrees, I guarantee you that question will never cross your mind again.
Add to that multiple bad health issues and one bike not inspected.
