lifecollage mentioned Gary Chapman's book, Five Love Languages some time ago, and it keeps cropping up in our on-going how - we- relate- to- partners conversations. I wasn't entirely keen with how they set up the quiz, but I also can't argue with the results. Quiz taking here.

I agree with your dissatisfaction in how the quiz is set up. I seem to recall a less overtly biased version when it was mentioned last time around.

In specific i don't expect anyone to score high on the "receiving gifts" in this version because there's a lot of social stigma about gifts and greed and nobody wants to be identified with that.

Yes. I was often asked if I wanted one or another, when I wanted both or not necessarily either. Etc.
