Con prep, Dieseling

I'm really glad I've started early on the Arisia art show prep.
Stuff done last night:

• Constructed cardboard platforms for frame stands that will hold up the vertically displayed items
• 1 box was the right height to begin with (win!)
• Cut down an Amazon box for the other two
• Painted all 3 tops black
• Punched holes for the wire that will hold the stands on the platforms
• Fished the wires through the stupid holes
• Put stickers on those items not displayed on vertical structures 

By 9, I was beyond toasted and had to get all crafting items out of the way for the cleaners today. Thanks be to purple_terror and quiet_elegance for being on dish patrol.

Stuff still to do:

fill out bid sheets and master list (87 frickin' items)
finish putting ID stickers on each piece
construct bid sheet booklet

Tonight I'm headed to Diesel- yay! Dinner early with lifecollage, then uninterrupted socializing and decaffinated beverages. I expect to be at Diesel by 6.

Funny you should mention that- I was contemplating writing a quick follow up post about that.

It turns out dinner took longer than I expected and just as we were headed out, one sneeze later and I couldn't breathe. Not fun. Maybe next time.
