Last year I totally failed to find a single heart-shaped tin around Valentine's Day.
I request that if anyone sees any, let me know. I'm determined to get one. Even if I have to buy it and thow away eat the contents. Well, not so determined if they're very expensive, but a few bucks? Why not.

These (http://www.weddingfavorsunlimited.com/fillable_wedding_dress_tins.html) are hideous in their original form, but would be adorable with your art on them. You have to buy 50, though.

These (http://www.orientaltrading.com/application?namespace=browse&origin=browseProductMain.jsp&event=link.itemDetails&demandPrefix=11&sku=65/90091&xsaleSku=32/932&cm_sp=Cross%2520Sell-_-Product%2520Detail-_-+Product%2520Detail) have clear lids, but you can buy a lot of 12.

And these (http://www.papertreyink.com/pack_tins.html) or these (http://www.blissweddingsmarket.com/store/000171.htm) might be exactly what you're looking for.

Well, I think Rite Aid in Davis had some--not the flat Altoid hearts, sadly, but a more rounded tin with a non-hinged lid, not as small as the ones in the above links. Relatively cheap ($1 a tin?). CVS seems to have no Altoid hearts either, but I hold out hope that it's individual by store, and maybe a larger CVS will have them. I do not, however, recommend waiting till they go on sale after V-day, as this didn't work last year.

Oh, and if you don't like the mints, I recommend handing them out at the con. Most fen can stand a breath freshener or two. ;)

I'm thinking Christmas Tree Shoppes, AC Moore, and/or Michaels. When I go in to get my next fix (& more dpn's for socks), I'll check whichever one(s) I happen to be in for you.

xoxo!
