Something Positive- no really, not the comic- Happy Drunk goes on about stuff

Sometime this afternoon I realized that quiet_elegance and I hadn't really seen each other in weeks. We show up at home, do our thing, usually in front of one sort of screen or another, and then one of us would be dead asleep by the time the other came up to bed. Usually the dude who's up at OMG 4:30 every frickin' morning. So.
Date. No, really. He worked 77  frickin hours last week, I jest not, we can go out, car repair bills, be damned! So, Betucci's. Yummy carby wine soaked goodness. But better yet: going to Via Lago for dessert and alcoholic coffee (speedball  = irish whiskey, Bailey's, Coffee). The bartender on Friday is Totally Awesome. So cute! Big geeky band chick. Like teaches band in high school during the week. We're totally going back. Did I mention I'm lit? Because I am. Walking home in the rain in the dark over watery ice was an exercise in forcing vertical hold where there really was none naturally.  We are totally making a thing of going out more on Friday nights as our date night. Maybe next time with less booze.

I love everything and every one right now. Except the stuff that I don't.
