PSA: Skate community formed!

In the wake of zomg-saking! a new community has formed: saugussk8 -

This community is to organize skating parties in the greater Boston/Camberville area, with a bias towards the Greater Suspoid/PolyBoston crowd but open to anyone who wants to go roller skating. Let's get together and see if we have enough people to rent out the rink! If we have 40 people willing to pay $10.00 each (including skate rental) we can rent the rink for private parties where we control the music and attendance from 7-9pm on a Wednesday night. Possibly a Monday or Thursday, and we can ask about Sunday as well.

And of course, if you join, there's no obligation to go, as such- and certainly not every time.

Yes but i like to think of myself as an advanced beginner at life. I'm never a complete novice but I never improve past a acertain point either.

I am completely, totally, insanely jealous!

Back in the day, noble_ils used to take kriz1818, turtlejenna, and me skating of a Sunday afternoon. I had clothes that picked out especially for their appearance under black light. I had a roach clip with feathers to stick in my hair. It was FABULOUS!!!

I love skating, although haven't gone in years. I'd welcome a night out skating for the hell of it, and also it's a great social event.
