Radio Frustrations
My beautiful purple sony boombox (how 80s am I?!) seems to no longer have a useful radio: the digital tuning is no longer tuning, as such... One shouldn't be getting bits of 100.7 and 104.1 with 92.9.
Am I correct in thinking there's really not anything one can do about the lack of tuning??
The CD player and tape player work fine, though.
Does anyone who 1. has a portable player and 2. doesn't listen to the radio want to trade with me??
I can't tell you how disappointed I am that it has pooped out on me. It's only 2 years old and was a Christmas present from
purple_terror. I liked that it was a digital tuner so I could jump from station to station when the commercials were on 5 out of the 9 stations I have programmed... but the fact remains: I *really* need a working radio that can tune to more than 3 stations. It's a sanity thing.
Anyway, reply here or email me if my long-shot suggestion is reasonable.
