Motorcycle question

If all goes according to plan, I may well have another motorcycle by the end of the season.

IF that does work out like I want, is there anyone out there in LJ land who is in the market for a Rebel 250?

I know nothing about motorcycles, don't know how to ride one, don't have a license for one, my wifey would probably rather break my right leg than see me own one, and her brother would break my other one for not owning a Harley, but ... I'm interested! :)

Seriously, if I thought I could afford to get one (monetarily as well as permissibility) I'd be on my way to your place right now. :)

Besides, this is a *tiny* bike. If you're over 5'5, it'd probably look a wee bit silly. (If that's any consolation)

It's listing for about 1730, but it's been living outside and has some chips in the paint- little stuff, but runs *great*. So... counter-offer?

I just told him about it and he says we really have to get the scooter running again before we get anything else. afterall, the one thing motorbikes/scooters have to do is go down the road.

also, we just got a new dishwasher.

with gas prices the way they are, I'm sure you won't have a problem selling it!

B and I are frustrated becouse we can't get my scooter running. maybe a 250 would be good.
