oy.
So, win for breakfast: Landmark Diner. Lots and lots of food for significantly less than hotel buffet. Mwahahahaaaa

James Marsters and we were in the 5th row. He was awesome.   James is made of awesome. Funny, rambling, intelligent, and generous.  But seeing him meant sacrifice seeing Nathan and Alan. The line snaked out the back corridor and at least 1/2 way around the building. Ahhh well. It gave us time to look through the dealer's room. Woah.

After a late lunch: Robert Llwellen (Red Dwarf) followed by a Dr. Horrible Horror Show (you know, like Rocky but with goggles and welding gloves.)  Late dinner/snack and Once More With Feeling/Buffy Horror Picture Show which thrashed my voice. Torchwood panel is early tomorrow -before lunch- so I thought skipping the midnight performance of Abney Park was a necessary sacrifice. Damn. Sorry, ya'll. Strangely, not my feet that gave out first, but my back.  In general, I think the con planners didn't quite estimate the leve to which the Whedon fan base has grown given all the lines we've seen for that track. Lots of Jayne hats and Browncoat paraphenalia of all sorts, except for Alliance officers. Ok. Haven't seen blue hands either- but it was only the first official day of the con.

I've spent pretty much every moment outside panels getting whip-lash from looking at people. Also only have one more ear flap and I'll have one more Jayne hat- the one that I started after breakfast. 'k. done now.

Oh- and every tv down here is on CNN, so I heard the GOP-veep choice. Even if not, LJ would have provided that tid-bit. To which I say "...huh." shrug. Should be interesting. Now bed.

Glad to hear you're having fun.

And yes, such things require making choices about what to do, choices that will preclude other things. While I was hoping to get an Abney Park report, no big deal.
