I talked to Mom within the past hour. She's about ready to pack up and go home. When I talked to her Saturday, she sounded like a shell of herself- there but not really with it. Yesterday was better, but easily tired. Today she sounds entirely perky and like herself.
One week of Entirely Bland and Boring Food, then she'll be allowed to have roughage again.

We have plans for them to visit for Columbus Day weekend. Good. Thank you very much for all your good wishes.

Oh, excellent! Hospitals do a number on you, no matter how minor a thing you're in there for. Heck, you were there when I woke up...remember the blur that was me? ;^)
