Family visit has begun
I managed to arrive at the airport- was just stepping off the Silver Line bus when my parents called to say they were there- one set of doors down.
An easy trip back to Harvard included chatting with some women ( or Womyn, might be appropriate here) from Seattle in for Head of the Charles, which was a fun diversion.
Pho at Le's was a hit, ice cream at Harrell's pleasing, and Harvard Book Store trip not too expensive. I'd been holding onto a gift certificate from there for too long.
'Pon returning home, some chatting, but inevitably: reading -or in Mom's case, pretending to read while actually napping. I really don't read at home as much as I used to. Then again, when I was living with my parents, I didn't have an hour and a half of commuting every day. Anyway- so far so good.
Oh!! And thanks to
omegabeth for announcing Wait Wait! coming to Boston! It happens to be the night before our anniversary, 3 days after the election, and 2 days before
quiet_elegance and I head to Cancun. Quite a week.
Anyway... yeah! Natter-natter.

And a tradition has grown whereby I drag
