I got on the red line a little before 5. I didn' t get home until 7. I will not be getting up early tomorrow, nosirrebob.
However, the antidote to a horrendo day of commuting includes crispy duck breast with spinach lightly wilted in the duck fat, risotto, wine, and unbelievably good company. Some of purple_terror 's friends from the UK are here for Christmas. They are definitely tops. They also adore our combined cooking and baking foo -and- admire quiet_elegance 's knives. Pity they live in the Other Cambridge :/
Major win: introducing Tom to the work of Jonathan Coulton. Glee!

I have NO idea what was with the commute stupid on Monday. I was near homicidal from dealing with the traffic. It was apparently awful everywhere. No idea why.
