Arisia has infected my brain

mizarchivistIn case anyone had any doubt, I'll be doing the art show again this year. I'll be taking a whole table this time- a first- but some of what I'm doing could use a bit more space. And more negative space is good anyway. Might help folks linger more if it's not such a blip. There are plans to -finally- make a sign indicating that it's me and my stuff we're on about. I know it's obvious- others who don't know me as well don't.
The pirate corset plan is still stalled - Damsel in this Dress has been not responding to my emails, and yet she still is selling stuff on Etsy and I suppose Ebay. The thing is- I can't fit in her "standard" size, which is made to look good photographed on the manikin. I SO don't have a 28" waist and probably never will (again). That, and the stuff she's been selling isn't the Empire Corsair that I'm in love with. AND I want them to at least not clash with my spats. I really don't know what more I can do other than pay her in advance to get her attention. :P At the very least, I'd like her to respond so I can either continue to look forward to my rockin' pirate outfit on Arisia, or give up the ghost. This has entirely eaten the rest of my brain that's not planning art show stuff. Or Naughty Nurse stuff. Or general costuming stuff.
ETA- she did respond before the end of the day I originally posted this and it's a go. I can't wait to wear it!
