Who'd'a thought last year at this time that I'd be sitting here watching our Fearless Leader give a speech on the telly, live. I am not twitching to turn it off or change the channel. Yay!

Yes, this. I don't always agree with Obama - certainly there were bits I didn't agree with last night. But at least I can listen to him and feel something other than nausea or a desire to shout back.

And when they fact-check him on NPR the next morning he only flubs one point.
