Podcasts

I've been listening to an inordinate number of podcasts of late because of the nature of my projects at work lately --to wit: going through 26 boxes of files, adding each individual's name to the guide, and putting the person's papers from single folders to communal ones, removing any duplicate material if any exists.  This is boring as hell and does bad things to my posture despite my best efforts.

So, podcasts. I've caught up with:
Wait, Wait, Don't Tell Me
Paul and Storm Talk about Some Things For Five To Ten Minutes On Average
Steven Fry's Podgrams (almost done)

Shows I have listened to in the past but have less interest in now:
The Signal
Firefly Talk
Car Talk
All Songs Considered

Occasionals:
Acapodcast
Coverville
Word Nerds (forgot about them!)
Slice of Scifi

Does anyone have suggestions on what else out there that might be fun?
Additionally, does anyone have copies of Harry Potter 4, 5, and/or 7 so I can continue listening to these here at work? In the meantime, I guess I'll go with Word Nerds since I forgot what a plethora I had here.

I'm working on catching up on Wait Wait and I heard, I think it was 2/14 yesterday. And I had such a squeeing fan-girl moment for Frederica Von Stade!! I adore her! 'Cause she's awesome. And was the best Cherubino that the marriage of Figaro has ever seen.

Holy shit I squeed when Von Stade* was on, too. People forget that Diva is an abbreviation for divina, not bitch. You have to sound like the one to be allowed the other.

Opera geeks FTW.

*Of course I squeed when Leonard Nimoy was on, too.

I've found I totally don't have the ability to listen to podcasts with my work being so interrupt-driven. I've no idea how Cory does it.

Let us know what you find.

How about the SciAm (Scientific American) podcast? It's always interesting, though not necessarily entertaining (many, ahem, scientists, ermm...aren't ...hmmm, you know...ahem...very concise speakers)

Have you tried This American Life podcasts?

Like short horror stories (generally about 20-30 minute bite sized chunks)? Get Pseudopod. I've listened to a few of the shorter ones and am a fan. I also do A Prairie Home Companion's News from Lake Woebegone, and a bunch of video stuff (which is less useful for you).
