I managed to sprout 17 bean plants. This is a bit excessive, but I'm not about to kill them off- These are the kinds of beans that actually do need poles to climb. Anyone interested in a few of them?
By the way,[info]sweetmmeblue : I actually do have some left over beans if K. wants to try sprouting a few. If he covers up his growing container with plastic wrap inside, he'll see them sprout in a week and then they take off.

want to trade a few bean plants for some tomato seedlings? They're still a ways before being ground-ready, but I started 24 seedlings, and I'm sure I won't be able to fit that many in the garden.

p.s. half of the 24 are heirlooms.

Nice! I have to check the seedlings; doesn't look like all of them took. But I'm sure I can spare a few - and I'd love the beans.

how much light can the beans handle? my only spot for pots is in hug windows that get tons of sun. but if that's cool i would happily take a couple.
