Yesterday: outside. Today: inside.
Yesterday included an entirely spontaneous dim sum with
sweetmmeblue & the boys followed by a stroll around Horn Pond. From there, attended a 3-for-1 birthday bash for some kidlets- hosted by
mzkero . Then home for a bit before an outside concert by
s00j . For once, I was outside more than inside for the whole day! ... And this morning I woke up feeling pretty horrendous: aching and nauseous. But thus far I haven't been violently ill and no fever. But my feet shouldn't hurt. That's just rude. Sleep is sort of made of awesome. I pretended to watch The Muppet Movie* and The Incredibles instead of my standard Pride & Prejudice. But there's still time to sleep through that, too- the sun's still up and everything.
Despite the bleh of now, I'm very happy to have done all that.
* OK. Unintentionally, but Muppet Movie is damn depressing when you realize exactly how many of the ensemble cast is dead. Also, I suspect that this is one of those kid movies that couldn't get made in This Day And Age- the jokes theoretically would go over heads, but...

And yeah, it's sad that so many of the cast is gone. You could pretty much say that about any movie that's old enough. But it makes me happy to see them all there and know that they aren't forgotten so long as the movie is still being watched.
And i agree that many of the jokes would go over kid's heads. I'm not sure it was meant to be a kid's movie in the first place. 'Rainbow Connection' is not at all a kid's song.

Very glad to see you yesterday, and sorry you're feeling poorly today! *hugs*
