caulay and I went to hear them at Club Passim tonight. We ended up sitting with an acquaintance and her companion by complete serendipity. Still quite lovely, although the opening act did little to nothing for me. They'll be back on Oct. 4 (a Sunday) for their CD release party. That disk will be purchased, but unlikely for me to attend.
No surprise: it's a bad idea for me to go into BeadWorks after months (possibly 8-10?) of not shopping. But boy do I have some pretties now.
The Beer Garden (it has a longer name than that, but I forget)- was a decent quick dinner spot- $4 burger & fries and it was just about exactly what I wanted.
There might be more to day but I'm now too tired to manage coherent. Oh, besides it's obviously been a nice day: I received no and sent no emails and I only had to scroll down half a page to catch up on LJ.
