Fuits of labor

I have 10 lbs. of apples. And a headache. And a hammock.

The longer version is, I went with House Wex to Parlee Farm out in Tyngsboro for early apples: going to pick your own is an event in which you pay for the privelige of labor- very Tom Sawyer mixed with the practicality of tourists hurt the trees. But yay- Also I have some peaches. When I care again I ought invesitage some options other than pie and/or crisp for specifically the peaches. However, I seem to be hugely hedachey now - lots of bright sun and probably not enough water. So, hammock. Book. Water.

peaches can be frozen whole, and then they're good for pies in the middle of winter.

but they have goats in the trees...The first year they had them i asked one of the owners who thought it up and she said "That's what happens when your husband the engineer gets bored over the winter"

I ended up not visiting the goats. Now I have to go back to see that.

Yeah and with a pulley system to feed them

It's kind of odd and clearly the "bored engineer" sort of thing to do.
