Does anyone have a Verizon stupid (not smart) phone they don't need anymore? Ideally one with a real keyboard. Thanks

I have a few in a box somewhere (in storage, I think) but the newest of them is at least 6 years old so you may not want it. I think the best of them is probably SMS capable (T9), but not MMS, and probably can not browse the web.

six years does sound like it could be problematic. We're going from smart to dumb because he doesn't use the interwebs, though. Just needs to text.

Yeah, even the best of them would not be a good replacement for a smartphone. Going back to T9 after using a real keyboard would suck too much I think. I only keep them around in case my regular phone breaks and I want to wait out the contract instead of buying new right away.

Considering how much q_e disliked his smart phone, I think he'd not mind a downgrade that much.
