SquwEEEEEEEEEEEEEeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!
said with great emphasis:
They have a Lego store in the Burlington Mall.

You can buy really really really cool colors that never ever exsisted when I was a kid- or only parsamoniously given in threes and fours (like transparent blue widdle 2-notches) with kits - but they're selling purples and pinks and teal and... oh one more and- random accesory type pieces. You get the idea. So, they sell them in these cute little layering cups and pints!
Plus the 300 dollar Star Wars 3000+piece battle cruisers and Harry Potter... well, after that, I sort of fixated on the back wall of mix-n-match. Didn't even look at the stoopid sports features or the girly-girl or way little kid themes.

Ok. Now you know, too.

There's also the Construction Site on Moody Street in Waltham. They have lots of Lego sets, as well as all sorts of other construction systems and many European toys n things. I like shopping there just to support a local business, plus the owner went to WPI. I don't think they have a la carte lego pieces like the lego store though, which sounds like it's as cool as going to the candy store and seeing bins of unusually colored M&Ms. Yeah, I'm so close to giving up sugar ;)

I've been inside once. That trip cost us about $300. This was before they moved to their new, larger location. When [livejournal.com profile] mizarchivist and I wandered past a couple weekends ago, it was only in consideration to her extreme hunger that I didn't end up killing a few hours there. But I figured if I did that, I'd end up on her menu, and that would be bad (for me at least).

And I was originally told about it by a friend in Kansas, who wanted to visit when he was here. His wife overruled him on that.
