A girl can dream [househunt]
I had a dream
nchanter and
asciikitty hunted around and found the perfect new Dead Muppet House. It was seriously amazing. I take this to mean it's time to hit up the RE agents that some of you offered up a few weeks ago. That is now done and my heart is in my mouth. I am willing to wait for The Right House, dammit. I know what I want. I can now picture a perfect version. I hope one of those 3 agencies will not be total dumbasses.
Things I want in said rental (Part II of previous post which talks about why I said rent and not buy - last sentence edited for clarity)

- Looking in East Arlington
- Wish to move April, but will wait til May -or god help me- June. We haven't moved in 9 years, we are unlikely to motivate again for at least that long, so what's 2 months?
- Stand-alone single occupancy house- no condo or apartment
- Want to have access to the bike path (Minuteman)- it's my solace for half the year. I can't give it up
- Access to bus lines that get me to the red line. If I'm on the Minute Man that seems entirely like a done deal, but good to state flatly.
- min. 4 bedrooms
- 2 bathrooms
- non sucktastic kitchen with dish washer
- finished attic space would be super-sweet
- usable basement (foreknowledge of does it flood)
- garage
- some yard
- insulation that insulateslandlord willing to work with us on house improvements: yard, appliances, appearance. IE: I'm having a garden, non-white walls, and water-efficient appliances that don't sound like they're about to take off.
- on site laundry
- a pony... no. But I might as well throw that in, considering all I'm asking for.
