Upcoming Travel: UK edition

Holy crap.

I will be headed to England a week from Wednesday. I must go shopping, stat. Pants are problematic.
Did I mention? England? Yeah! I'm going with purple_terror  for a week, staying w/ our friends in the Other Cambridge (I hear the original), going to PicoCon and generally larking about.

But- I can go to Lush right now if I want. Is there something special in London? Also remember I'm not likely to want to travel with extra liquid stuffs if I don't check luggage.

Lush is much cheaper in the UK than here for some products, even allowing for the exchange rate. If you have any favorites, it might be worth looking at prices.

But I hadn't realized that you weren't going to check luggage; it would make sense not to want to buy extraneous stuff there.

The soaps seem to have the biggest mark-up out of all the products; not sure why. What's $9.95 here can be £2.95 there. But even some of the bubble bars and bath ballistics cost twice as much over here. And 'Gorgeous' facial mosturizer? It's something like $89.95 here and £35 there. Unbelievable.

I refuse to buy Lush here unless there's a major sale or if it's for a gift. No way am I spending that kind of dough when I know where to get it cheaper.
