I am officially announcing here (so I don't surprise people in a few months) that quiet_elegance is changing his birthday from December 12 to June 12.

Why? Because December is a gyp for birthdays.
How'd he think of that? That's weird! My dad did that. His is in December, too, and he has always loathed winter, so now his is in March.
How will that work? Well, this June, Q-E will celebrate his 30th bday. Feel free to give him presents. It's the same weekend as Pride, but there'll always be something to interfere with all our birthdays.

Eventually I may well email/mail those who ought to know, like relations, but this is the first sweep.

i can't remember--is he moving it 6 months ahead, or behind? (hopefully behind, cause then he's 6 months younger :)

*laugh* can't go backwards, I fear. He's only going to be 29 for 6 months.

well THAT sucks.
he doesn't want to turn 29 again? I mean, if you're going to mess with the rules and actually CHANGE your birth day, you can mess with what age you are too, right?
