Book geek question
I need to find (if possible) a copy of John Robinson's The Works of John Robinson. Copyright 1851. It may be impossible, but where would the serious book nerds look? I've looked at Bookfinder.com, alibris, and Amazon- all a bust.
Alternatively, perhaps getting a microfilm copy of it is not such a bad idea, if print version is not available. Finding out of print books is really not part of my usual job, so assume I know little-to-nothing. Thanks.

Anyway, WorldCat (http://www.oclc.org/) has ten copies listed -- is this something you're willing to interlibrary loan, or did you need to buy one for your own library?
In case you need more complete information for future searches, complete title is The works of John Robinson, pastor of the pilgrim fathers, and listed authors are John Robinson, William Allen, John Waddington, and Robert Ashton. It appears to have been published simultaneously in Boston (Doctrinal Tract and Book Society) and London (J. Snow).
Good luck.
Thanks
I'll keep looking, although I'm wondering if we could manage to get Harvard Imaging to make a microfilm copy from our battered copy. Given it was published in 1851, the likelihood of it being on crap paper and said paper not successfully passing the test of time anywhere is very high. I suspect putting it through the tortures of microfilming will be the books' last act, though :( We shall see. This isn't my call to make, so not my stress.
