Dad says that the memory clinic can say with 99.7% accuracy that my last remaining grandparent definitely has Alzheimer's.

Ok. Good to know, I guess. Having a label for what's happening is helpful.

Mom and Dad are going to keep her for a few weeks to give my aunt a break soon.

A visit to the homestead in July is in the works. Dad and I are going to arrange so Grammy will be there, too.

Ugh. Alzheimer's is one of those things that the body does late in life that really twinges me in the sense of, "Oh, please, let me avoid that." But, yes, good to know what's happening, and... good luck with it all.

*hugs*

Poor the broken Grammys. I hope your time with her is sweet and peaceful.

Sorry, to hear about your grammy.

Let me know when you'll be back and we'll try to get together.

I'm sorry to hear that. I'm sure your visit will be hard, but I hope it's rewarding as well.

Many strong hugs, m'dear. And yes, going home and spending time with her is the important bit. That's why I try and see my Lexie every time I get back to NY. She does appreciate it.
