Planning for mid-sized kid wrangling for Arisia

The kiddo and I will be headed to Arisia and have a room at the Park Plaza. Initially I'd arranged to combine forces with Boots, who volunteered to be the evening adult on duty ... but sadly, she has had to rearrange and isn't going now. I'm looking for ideas / suggestions

• Leads on people (I was originally going to say teenager, but that seems ridiculously limiting) who are available to be Adult on Duty for a child who may or may not go to sleep easily?
• Other parents of mid-sized humans who want to co-op room/kid wrangling
• ....? 

I have hopes and dreams re: attending the art reception on Friday and going to at least one party on Saturday. Anyway- putting this out there in this quiet, smoll pool- I'll probably think this over again and email some folks.

I would offer a thing 2 but they have friend from out of town they are responsible for and working the convention.

Yeah, that's a lot and seems unrealistic. I thought of them from the get-go, but also know they're pretty out and about at the con.
