stuff... with things in it

mizarchivist[venkman]I feel so... funky[/v]- Not that I've been slimed, but JJV and I spent the entire day dusting off books. I'm certain I have a nice, fine layer of crud all over. Blech!
At least we are almost done with the Cage, which has the densest part of the collection per shelf. Most of the rest of the space is filled with boxes or larger books. JJV seems to think we can finish w/in the allotted 24 hours. It'll be a fucking miracle if it works out that way.
On my brief visit to my office before lunch I discovered two distinct chisel marks on my door jamb. Survey says! Screwdriver! Yes, ladies and gentlemen, someone tried to break into my office. In the middle of the morning with a hell of a lot of people around. After reporting this to the building manager, the super and his assistant determined that mine was the only one in the building targeted. Hmph. I've taken to double-locking the door when I go downstairs now. :-/ With luck, it won't happen again. It's not like there's anything useful in my office. Really.
But, it's almost time to go home. I have a plan to make calzones tonight and probably go to pick up magazines from Quinn's house. mmmm- good night for a motorcycle ride, methinks.

I went sea kayaking on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday. The spray makes you nice and salty... So much so, in fact, that it looks like you're peeling from a sun burn.
