The original-original plan for today would have had me in Maine til tomorrow.
The next incarnation involved going with bookteacher to the Harvard natural history museum.
This morning, though, while waiting for the electricity to come back, I started cleaning. And I'm still not done. Ms. B-t. had similar desires to de-pit-ify her abode, so there you go. I even called the landlord to let him know that we have a buzzy infestation outside of the house. I found that out first hand, er, foot last night when I decided to frolic in the rain. One of the little bastards didn't have the good sense to get the heck in its nest. Ow. I hope my foot stops hurting soon, because this is annoying.

So far, I have:

-- hung the painting my brother made for me
-- hung the elements mandala in my craft room
-- washed a sinkful of dishes
-- cleaned and fixed the narsty filing cabinet in prep for placing and filling it
-- made a list of all the things I want to do in the craft/guest room

Now to fill said filing cabinet with papercraft goodness and then, shower #2. Yick.

...Damn, it's dark out! And rainy. And boom-crashy. Today would have royally sucked for being out-and-about. MonSOOOOOOOOON!

It did pretty much suck for being out and about, especially in a boat. I called mizarchivist when we got there and told her how lucky she was have missed this one.
