So, last week I successfully installed a new hard drive in my work computer, but failed to get the backups of my work and personal email back to life. I seem to have put myself in a bit of a holding pattern because of that. So, I'm choosing to move on and at some point I'll get the old email and all the Outlook peripherals (task list, contacts, etc) back in working order. In the meantime, I have a paper copy of my contacts list and my Visor has the list of tasks. I just have to make sure the visor doesn't crap out. No big.
Anyway, if any have noticed my non-responsiveness regarding mail, that'd do it.
My new intern starts today on the usual small processing projects. This is good

quiet_elegance is painfully busy at work and dealing with a boss who is choosing irrascible over helpful. It stresses him and bums me out that he has to deal with extra negativity.
We have successfully located a potential new (to us car), have the loan from an Online Lending Company for a reasonable rate and a goodly sum- we plan to only use a portion of what was offered. With the help of the ever-helpfulmangosteen, we are likely not to have a non-conscentual postieror sexual congress moment when we go to sign paperwork. And Mr. Mangosteen gets to excercise the sadistic consumer beastie within! All win in this situation.
