s-s-s-ugaahhhh!
I'm having a few folk over tomorrow. For some insane reason, I decided I wanted to try out a new dessert. The key ingredient is chocolate (no... really?!).
ingredients:
tofu chocolate pie filling (1 block silken tofu, one bag chocolate chips, 1/3 c.flavored liqueur - kaluah this time)
lady fingers
cool whip
carmel
marshmallow topping
hot fudge
oreos, crushed
vanilla-creme wafers, crushed
all put in layers: heavier on the pie filling and cool whip layers, a lot lighter for the sundae condiments. I think I actually managed 3 repetitions of the lady fingers. The concoction will be kept in the freezer to set and keep the cookie bits from (hopefully) getting soggy.
If nothing else, it'll be quite the buzz.

3 q's:
1. are the chocolate chips melted, or just mixed around with the tofu and liqueur?
2. the crushed cookies: are they crushed WITH their respective fillings, or do you de-stuff the oreos, as it were?
3. what kind of a pan did you use, cause that's a lot of layers! (that's why I imagined it in a trifle pan).

2. Cookies are just crushed with their filling. I wasn't that ambitious.
3. Cassarole (6" deep, I think) type pan, yes. If I'd had a glass one, that would have been my first choice. The first candiate was a deep-ish pie dish, but I figured that would not get me the effect I wanted.

Now if only I could get someone else to finish my paper. I'll be doing that tomorrow night.
