It's safe to say I wasn't expecting this today

It would appear that our library will be short one librarian soon, as the New Librarian has informed (new) Fearless Leader and now me that she'll be resigning as soon as she can manage. NL explained she just didn't feel a click here and figured might as well quit now before we got too attached to her. Fair enough. This decision doesn't particularly break my heart. Things should be interesting on Monday when (n)FL is in the office and the rest of the staff are told.
