Ok. So, I've been having issues in general at work and with Mozilla Thunderbird, so I will admit my tolerance might be a bit off.
However, I know for a fact Thunderbird is misbehaving, specifically refusing to send and refusing to get new messages and the real fun one: redelivering messages that are 2-3 months old as if they're new (the same 15-20).
There is no formal Thunderbird help, only forums. The folk who've been talking about send/receive issues are just saying "me too" not "this is how you fix it."
I'm more than tempted to call it quits on Thunderbird and revert to Outlook, maybe even bail on my default email address. It gets way too much spam and it'll only get worse. I'd replace it with my newly minted gmail account if I did choose to do something else.
However, I do not want to act rashly. I love the fact that I have such a neat email address and the disruption of address changes is something I lik to avoid. So, if anyone has an opinion on this topic, feel free to wade in.
