What I did on my winter vacation...

I love my snowpants! I can circumvent that whole wet pant cuff situation and almost be too warm (when there's no wind). This snow (not snot- I did write that first) is very fluffy. It was a definite "I have no front steps" situation before, which makes it difficult for us to get mail. Getting the first 3 steps cleared was easy, as they were above the snowline. The last one the beginning of "chip away" since it's impossible to take a whole chunk from top to ground if you expect to keep your back. The city hasn't bothered clearing our sidewalks. We sorta hoped they'd come through, but the little CAT that they use to do the clearing (or whatever it is) may not be able to handle this amount of snow. So- I dug til I got to the street so Sully can give us our bills and credit card offers. Now for a hot shower and then food shopping.

Step for step, it sounds like you and I have the same day planned. However, since our landlords had already dug out our sidewalk and steps, we dug out the car and then helped our neighbor with their sidewalk. I do this for myself and all the other pedestrians of the area. Yar!

Now, shower and either walk or drive to the stupidmarket.
