 Weekend:
K went to his parents' house for the weekend, so quiet_elegance and I had a fair bit of time together by ourselves
Sunday was a major sleep in day what with the hour lost. It was nice enough to figure out if my motorcycle would start. It didn't, so while the
battery charged, it seemed wise to clean the girl up some. The chain was just nasty! Wire brushes and chain cleaner will work eventually.
Since no motorized biking was an option, I pedaled. With my leather gloves on, it was a comfy ride. I'm no longer comfy now, given that whole
I'm sore from it all. Miz. K came over to visit us, have some dinner and watch a video. That was quite lovely and it'll be nice when she's
done with school and can visit with us more freely.
Today:
Ugh. There was way too much debris left in our conference room from the new computers and the old carcasses. That was gotten under control
before the library committee meeting. The meeting itself was draining. More building hoohah, but a fair bit of discussion re: the catalog conversion
project. I ended up helping most of my coworkers with printer setup, since our tech guy didn't get around to that, partially because it is supposed
to be easy and why pay him the ultra big bucks to do something we can do ourselves. Mind you, he didn't tell this to anyone down there, so they got
a bit disgruntled by it all. Whatever.
This week will be taken up with a lot of prep for a conference on Saturday- picture taking for show n' tell. That at least should be fun :)

Yes- all she needed was a battery re-charge- If I was going home tonight after work (it's dance night) I'd go for a ride!
