The Day Elmo Died [Down The Rabbit Hole]
Story to follow when it's not 4:30 and it's time to go do pre-flea activities!
Story in my head so far...
It's a dark day on Sesame Street when Elmo's pelt is discovered in the front hall of a Massachusetts residence. How did he get so far from Manhattan and where the hell are Oscar and Grover?! The Muppets call on Buffy and the Scooby gang (circa season 6 so we can have some Spike/Buffy sexy tensions) to figure out what's going on in this possibly demonic act of violence.

* Snuffleupagus [sp?] accidentally stepping on him, then panicking and trying to hide the body. Big Bird claims to be able to provide an alibi.
* Oscar the Grouch offing him for being too chipper. No apparent alibi, and the police already dislike Oscar for being, well, a grouch.
* Cookie Monster offing him after being tormented with cookies (the so-called "sometimes food") for a little too long. He claims to have an alibi, but nobody has come forth to substantiate it yet. The recent change in his diet could get him an insanity plea.
* The kid who must be in the Massachusetts residence tickling him to death. The kid was seen tickling Elmo, but there are no witnesses to say how long the tickling went on. Whether this might have been intentional or accidental is yet to be determined.
Will it be one of these obvious suspects? Or will our investigators (for some reason, the Count seems to be involved) turn up someone else responsible for this dastardly deed? Or will there be a twist of Elmo faking his own death to avoid the paparazzi? Tune in next time, on CSI: Sesame Street.

Though invoking sexual tensions so close to the Scooby Gang is really unfair. Now I've got Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back movie's Thelma remarking on girls in my head (though, I end up picturing Linda Cardellini (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0004802/)'s Thelma when we get right down to it. Great... I'll be in my bunk.
