Very quick thing here for now...
We got to Bowling Green, saw my inlaws, had a decent time, didn't kill anyone and got to Mentor ok.
Also- the doctor called me yesterday.
I have MONO. Yep. Mono. My tonsils are still sore and my ear is still stuffy, but I'm not horribly incapacitated. I'll just be really careful not to over exert myself and take naps when I need to. I have no bloody clue how I managed to get this. I don't know anyone that has mono. I came back from Hartford and within 72 hours I was ill. So, I apologize if I exposed anyone to this. Bleh! I'll be looking at this more soon, but that's all I got now.

More stuff

I've sent an email to my doctor to see what more I need to know about mono. If she has anything helpful to say with this specific instance I'll pass that on. Thanks to all who have fed me snippets of the CDC website. Already my tonils feel less cruddy than a few days ago. Also there was no way I could have kept myself from getting this. So sayeth the CDC:

 "However, no special precautions or isolation procedures are recommended, since the virus is also found frequently in the saliva of healthy people."  And so on.

Typically- ironically- I have no patience or time right now to catch up on LJ since Monday, I scanned through, but retained almost nothing. If you really have something awesome to share, email me.

I'm sitting in mom's living room and I can smell fresh basil. Food good. Want some. Then rest and then to the West Side to hear Dale sing.
