It's about time to start prepping the garden barrels again! I was thrilled to see that the chives grew back on their own. Good thing, as I killed them in the house. And the creeping thyme has survived/suffered in the same way. Some new buds on the chocolate mint, too (none came in -so that was an extra bonus). For the stuff brought in, both rosemary and parsley made it.
I still have a monster aloe if anyone wants to take it off my hands. It's looking quite healthy these days.

(eta) The "day" started with a phone call at 3-something from Maine- word that K's dad finally died (I hate euphemisms) quietly in his sleep after days of fading out. As K says: it was the preferred outcome for an inevitability.
With that in mind, it seemed extra important to suck the marrow out of the day. And I think we did a good job at it-->

So: garden, as earlier noted, starting to wake up.
Then the DMH denizens + Robin went to Symphony Hall to hear (and feel) Kodo. This was essentially a section of their opening number. The person who shot that video would have been right above us compared to where we sat- in the 3rd row. So, the guy(s) wielding the baseball bats on the biggest drums in the set- wow. Raaaaawr! Oh- finally- this one- The shadows on the wall of them drumming were reminicent of Fantasia.
One must have sushi after that- we went to Douzo for fish and sake. I've not had better fish, I don't think. Or better sake. And Finale for the finale. I'm amazed I'm still awake.

on an entirely other note, a living-dead affirming note: Zombie March 2009! On Easter! I'm so-so there. I didn't get a chance to wear living dead librarian at Halloween, so... yes. I just hope it doesn't rain.
